The top is a full plate, but I don’t have implants in, in at the top. They stay in okay. You know, if they don’t, if they decide not to stay in, I won’t hesitate to have implants put in. And the bottom plate won’t stay in without the implants. The adhesive gets messy and it wears out. I’m very pleased to have the permanent type fixture. I haven’t had any problem. It’s been a week. I love them. It’s been nice to be able to chew. I feel very confident smiling now. My daughter is so excited, Avram. She said, “They don’t even look false or fake.” She said, “They look real, like the real set,” so that makes me feel so much better, to be able to smile and not have to worry about that.

Dr. Herbert puts everybody at ease. He’s just so friendly. His hygienist is super. I love her. I just had no anxiety. I’m comfortable with them no matter what. What they do, I know they’re gonna take care of me. It was a pleasurable experience.

Why do I like coming here is well yeah, they’re friendly, and they are very cooperative financially and every other way. They gave me a credit, or I had a credit for some money that I had gotten back, and was unexpected, and they could’ve kept the money, and I would’ve never known the difference. But they gave me the money, and that won me over, there.

I’m just totally satisfied with the way they do, and the way they operate here. It’s, I don’t, I’ve never been to a better place, I can put it that way.

And, it’s all one stop. You can get everything done with one stop. I have had dental history where I get one thing done, and then have to drive across town to get a root canal to get it done somewhere else. But here you can get everything that you need, and it’s a lot less hassle.

Dr. Herbert is my main doctor, and he’s just, he’s a wonderful person. I enjoy him. We’ve communicated on about the same plane, and he’s a good communicator with his patients, well with me anyway. He’s a very good communicator with me. I’m pretty well assured of what’s coming when it comes.

I know that needle will pinch a little bit, but I don’t worry about that now, not like I did when I was young person. I was very anxious, but at this age, and knowing the experience of these people, I’m at ease, I don’t have any problem with that.

He gives me a chance, he allows my input as well, and we make decisions based on some of my input and his input and we come out with what we think is the best solution to the problem. I just told the lady, I told her, I said, “Is this your first time?“ She was filling out the application I said, and she said, “Yes.“ I said, “Well I think you’ve made the right choice.“ I said, “I’m, I’ve got a little age on me,“ and she did too, I didn’t of course get into that. But I told her, “I think you’ve made the right choice, because you get everything done here under one roof.“ And she had had the same experience that I had had, she’d get something done and then have to go across town to get something else done, and that’s a big deal, that’s a big selling point here.

And I’d certainly recommend it, anybody looking for a dentist.

I was born with I was missing two of my front teeth. It’s a congenital thing. My dad was missing it. And his dad was missing it. So it’s apparently a common thing, but it’s not very fun to deal with. So, he basically did some bridge work in the very front of my mouth and , of course, being a girl and worrying about your appearance and everything … I was very worried about how it was gonna turn out. I wanted to make sure obviously it looked good ’cause it matters, or at least it does to me. And that’s why his confidence, it really impressed me, and that he also suggested a procedure that … all the other ones they had to actually drill down on my teeth.

And he did what’s called a Maryland Bridge and it wasn’t as invasive. And I wasn’t sure how much insurance would really even pay for it. But he actually worked with me on that as well, so that was another point towards coming to him. He was just really great. It’s held up. It’s done great. I get lots of compliments on my smile so he did a great job. I’ve referred lots of people to him because of it. Like they’ll say, “Oh my gosh! You’ve got a beautiful smile!“ I was like it took a lot of work to get here. Go see Dr. Griffin. So … yeah, it was he was great. I mean, 100 percent you should go check ’em out. They’re prompt. They’re fast. They’re warm. They’re caring, easy to deal with. And they’re professional. And Dr. Griffin has just done a great job with my mouth. And usually, once they see the smile, the proof is in the pudding. So, that’s all it takes.

Dr. Hess, he is great. If you don’t understand what he’s telling you, he will break it down, he will explain things to you, and he’s really gentle around the chair. Even when he’s giving shots, I hate needles, I hate taking shots, and he’s really gentle, and if you’re in pain you just raise your hand or say, “Oy.“ And he’ll take care of it. I mean, he is very nice, very professional, and he’s just a great guy and an awesome dentist.

I mean, of course he has given me a new mouth basically, with my smile. I have porcelain crowns top and bottom, and I am in the process of getting implants in the back where I can have a full set of teeth, where I can chew and taste food instead of inhaling it by swallowing it without chewing it.

You just don’t really realize how much you take, and forget when you don’t have teeth of when you can chew your food. Your food is so much better when you can chew it. You can savor the taste and it’s just awesome to be able to chew. I can’t wait to have a whole mouth full of teeth that I can chew everything.

I love that my teeth look natural, they don’t look fake, because I have seen some teeth that they look good, but they don’t look like they’re natural. But mine, thank the Lord that they are nice and they look natural. And they are the shade of white that I wanted, because I really like having white teeth, and I’m really pleased with them.

It just feels so good, because when I was younger I told you guys earlier that I had nice teeth. I wore braces for five years, and they were white, and it just feels so good, it makes you feel proud and you know you’ve done the right thing, especially when someone says, “Oh, wow. You have beautiful teeth.“ It’s like money well spent.

And, I guess if you value your smile and teeth, I thought it was a very reasonable price, because I had a lot of work done. So I’m happy, and that’s all that matters.

It was uncomfortable for me having that space there. It seemed as if my teeth shifted over time, and so having an implant there, actually closed that space. It allowed me to make it easier for me to chew.

Even if I wanted a steak, and I don’t eat steak that often, but if I wanted steak, I would be comfortable eating a steak. I felt a lot more confident. As you can see, I love smiling, and so I feel very comfortable smiling and talking with other people now after having the implant.

The process was painless. The process takes about six months. You have to do an initial procedure. Then you have to put the implant in place. I didn’t have any problems as a result of the implant, and the implant has been in place for about two years.

They’re always calling to check up on you after your procedure, and even while there, they make you feel very comfortable while in the chair. Sometimes it gets so comfortable, I actually fall asleep.

Dr. Hess is a very nice, approachable guy. He’s easy to have a conversation with. He’s very down-to-earth. He provides me a lot of useful information and as being a pharmacist, sometimes the information that he provides is information that I already know.

I will tell my friends to contact Advanced Dental Center to see Dr. Hess. He’s a great dentist and he makes you feel very comfortable.

Dr. Herbert has done so many things. He originally was my father-in-law’s dentist many years ago. That’s how my husband and I started with him. He is just so gentle, if you ever have to have Novocaine you do not feel a thing. He is just so gentle and kind with you. He has just done everything, crowns, bridges, everything. I feel like now that everything is perfect for me. I feel like I can smile and feel confident and that means a lot that you feel that you can smile and you are proud of your smile.

He’s just a wonderful dentist. He’s more like family. When I go there it’s like I’m going to see my family. I asked him the other day if he were thinking about retiring. I say, “If you retire, I do not know what I will do. I will stay here but I will be lost.“ Because he has been our family dentist for so many, many years. Like I said, my children, my grandchildren, and now my great-grandson he will be coming to him. It’s just a wonderful family dentist office.

I would recommend the IV sedation to anybody. I would.

You go in, and they make you very comfortable. They make sure you have a little warm blanket, and then Dr. Crambie, he’s sitting there talking to you. Next thing you know, you gone. … You don’t know nothing until he woke me up, then I’m like, …

He said, “I’m done.

I’m like, “Really? … When … did you do this?“ It’s … anybody who has ever not had it, I would recommend it. I have gag … Like I said, I have a gag reflex. I have this thing about pain. I don’t like pain, but … Yeah, I would recommend to anybody. It is very simple. They make you feel at home. They put your mind at ease about any question you have to ask. They’re hold your hand through the whole process, if you need them. They’ll hold your hand.

I call him Dr. Joe sometimes because obviously I’ve been there so long. Dr. Joe, we always joke around. His staff is just amazingly warm and kind. Just yesterday, I went there for some touch up work. Any time you see that shot coming toward you with the Novocain I start tensing up. I’m terrible with shots. They’re just talking to you and they’re rubbing you. It just helps you calm down and realize, “Okay. It’s fine.“ They distract you from what’s going on because they’re talking to you continuously. So, I’ve always had great experiences. Trust me. I’m the worst with shots. If I’m okay going, then anyone else should be just fine. They do a great job making it a warm, pleasant environment.

He, honestly, is very professional. You would expect that. I guess, the thing that always impresses me is, when I come in I don’t have to wait a long time. They have it structured where I might wait maybe two or three minutes and then they’re taking me back. I appreciate that. Running a business, being a mom, you got a lot doing on. I don’t want to sit there and wait. “If my appointment time’s 4:30, get me in and out.“ They do that. They consistently have done that for the last whatever, 10 years that I’ve been there. That says a lot about how you run your business and how they treat their customers and the fact that they get you in and out.

Anyone usually is anxious about going to the dentist and you know, she’ll say, “Come on. It’s okay.” They usually come in and talk to you a little bit. Dr. Herbert comes in there and talks to you like he’s known you his whole life. He makes everybody … You can hear him coming down the hall and everybody is just crazy about him. He’s really a good person. You know, Robin just keeps saying, “It’s going to be okay.” They always stay in there the whole time with you. She has to kind of talk me up a little bit but the girls there are just wonderful, wonderful.

I have several friends that come here and my family comes here. They know that I’m crazy about coming and seeing Dr. Herbert if I have to come to the dentist I feel confident sending anyone here. They’re patient and I think a bit thing with a lot of people is pain at the dentist and they make sure … they ask you over and over, “Are you feeling anything? Is it too much? Do you need something more for pain?” I think that takes away a lot of the anxiety about coming to the dentist. I would suggest to anyone come here and at least try if they don’t have a dentist you need to come here and try. I’ve sent several people here.

I love Dr. Herbert. I’ve been coming for over 40 years, and he and Robin are my favorites. I love them. He just makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. It’s just home, you know, down home. My daughter my comes here, my son-in-law comes here, and my son comes here, so they’ve all been brought up here. They do a great job. They’re so easy to work with, and Dr. Herbert is just so friendly and just makes you feel comfortable. It’s just a pleasure to come here. I would recommend this practice to anyone and everyone. I love it here.

I like coming to Advanced Dental Center because of the service and the special attention that I and my family receive. We’ve been a patient of Dr. Joe Griffin’s a great many years now. He is just a good person. He’s got a good heart, he’s very caring. He gives back to the community, he helps so many different nonprofit organizations within our city and community, and he’s just a good person.

What hasn’t he done for me? Fillings, crowns, I can’t tell you how many. My teeth, since childhood, have been a challenge with fillings, and now with crowns to save them. I’d hate to guess how many crowns Dr. Griffin has worked with me on.

He takes time to talk to you and he gives you the feeling that everything is fine. He takes the time to ensure that you don’t have any questions. I can’t speak too highly of the degree of professionalism, and not just in that area, but in how the patient is talked with, and throughout the whole procedure is kept informed and continues after the procedure is done to see that you’re fine.

I do feel like my teeth look natural, and I’m very confident in the service and the professionalism that I and my family have seen. Absolutely, if you have dental procedures, they work with you individually to work out a process where you’re comfortable in being able to have the procedure, financially.

I highly recommend Advanced Dental Center and Dr. Joe Griffin and his staff. He is not only a dentist, but he’s a friend and he’s a friend of this community. He cares about his patients and he cares about our city and our community. I highly recommend him.

I had some issues with my teeth. I didn’t take care of them the way I should have. I had chemotherapy almost 10 years ago now, and that apparently has wreaked havoc on my gums, so I ended up having to have all of them pulled. I initially came for a cavity, and then we found all of the other issues that were going on, so they went ahead and pulled all of them. They gave me some Valium to take before I got here to help with that anxiety in the beginning when they pulled to teeth, one to take an hour before my visit and then one to take when I got here. I ended up not needing to take the second one. I just took the first one. It worked. It calmed me down enough, and with their help, I was calm enough that I didn’t have to take the second one.

When they pulled the 12 of them, I didn’t realize just how much it was affecting me and how I wasn’t sick, but I didn’t feel well, until after they were pulled and the healing process began. Then I realized just how much it was affecting how I felt on a daily basis. It’s 100% better now that they’re gone. I had to be careful of how hard it was to chew something, because my teeth hurt initially, before we had anything done. I couldn’t drink cold water. Everything I drank I had to drink through a straw, because it hurt. My teeth were just that sensitive. It just hurt to drink.

I don’t have to do that anymore. That’s a wonderful thing too. I can just, you know, get a bottle of water and drink it, and don’t have to worry about finding a straw, and don’t have to worry about whether it’s too hot or too cold. THat’s a very nice thing, because I’d been dealing with that for a couple of years actually, where my teeth have just been really sensitive, so that’s a good thing.

I wasn’t sure when I had them pulled if I was just going to stick with the denture or if I was going to do the implants. After having it for six months or so, I really prefer to have the implants done. I think it’s going to be well worth it when it’s all said and done. I’m more confident now than I was before I had my teeth pulled, but it’s been a process, you know, getting the temporary denture in place and having to learn how to eat and how to talk. You pretty much have to do everything over again. There’s a little bit of a learning curve there, but once you figure it out it works well. I’m really looking forward to being able to talk the way I used to.

I definitely recommend it. Yes. Definitely. The whole process. For me, it took a while, because I had so many other issues going on, and it’ll end up being a little over a year long process to get mine done, but it’s definitely worth the time and money to invest in doing it.

It’s very friendly and a very warm environment. From the first time I came, it’s been a great experience. I’ve been coming for almost a year now. They’re always very helpful and willing to do whatever you need. If you have any questions, they’re willing to take the time to answer them. It’s just been a great experience.

Dr. Carimi is going to finish putting the posts in. When he’s done, I’ll have an implant retained denture. I’ll be able to eat everything I want to eat. I’ll be able to talk normally again. I’m looking very forward to it.

He’s a great doctor. He’s another one who’s willing to answer any questions anytime you have any questions. He takes the time to explain it so you understand it. He’ll go back over it anytime you need to. His bedside manner is wonderful. You don’t see that very often.

They work very well with you. They file the insurance for you and handle all that. They set you up on a payment plan. What I’m having done is going to be very expensive, but they have it set up on a payment plan where they automatically draft my account every month, so I don’t have to worry about forgetting to make the payment. It’s already taken care of for me.

Oh, I would tell them to absolutely come. They will not be disappointed. They will not regret it. Everybody is so friendly and helpful and is willing to take the time to answer whatever questions you have and explain anything you need explained as many times as you need it done. Definitely would recommend them to come.

Dr. Griffin, he’s a nice guy. He’s kind. Has a sense of humor. I’ve known him for about 40 years. Great guy.

Well, Dr. Griffin planted eight mini implants, so I don’t really don’t have to use any adhesive. It just stays there. I’m a big eater. Steak, apple, it doesn’t matter. It’s like having your natural teeth, really. Especially at my age, I’m about 60 years old, so it pays a plus for me.

The process, it was real simple. It’s real simple. He talks to you and make you comfortable. Especially with his professional staff, they make you feel like home. Really, they don’t rush. They just do their job from when you enter the building from when you leave the building. It’s total profession.

I have pretty good insurance but he set me up incredibly. Installments. It made me feel comfortable knowing I was actually able to pay. He didn’t really hassle me. That was a blessing.

Yeah, they call me pretty teeth. Yeah. I’m a singer and I think presentation means a lot. I’m a business owner. With my smile, I can accomplish a little more in revenue. It’s a plus.

Well I found this practice by accident. 2015, I had some extensive dental work done and it went downhill from there. I had screws put in and in 2016 I had to go to a professional in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to have the screws took out because they was in the wrong place. They was placed wrong, it was in the wrong place and then I just did not trust dentists anymore at all. Anything I ate, I got sick. I would throw up. Then if I didn’t have the, had to go get a plate, so I have a very bad gag reflex. I went and got the plate, got sick every time I ate.

Then I was looking through the phone book and I was like, “I have got to find something, somebody,” so I looked and I saw Dr. Joe’s ad and I called. Dr. Joe gave me an appointment and I came down here, I drive four and a half hours to get here, from about 10 minutes from the North Carolina line to get here. When I got here, I was crying, I’m not going to lie to you, because I didn’t trust dentists, but he made me feel very welcome. He made me feel good and he asked me if I would mind if Dr. Carimi would look at me and I’m like, “No.” He was professional enough to send me to somebody who he knew that would help me, and see? He did.

I have six implants on top that retain my denture on top and it’s very comfortable. I can eat, I can smile. That was my biggest thing, I wanted to smile and like you said, most people think it’s real. He’s a perfectionist and I loved him. It has to be absolutely perfect or he won’t give them to you. I love that. He’s the only dentist I’ve ever been to that is a perfectionist.

I smile all the time. I don’t care. If I’m ready, I’m smiling. I love it. I love Dr. Joe, I love Dr. Carimi and I would recommend them to anybody. My sister comes here. I have a first cousin that’s going to come here and we all live in upstate South Carolina and, yeah, we’ll drive four and a half hours to get here.

There were two teeth that I had that were questionable as whether we could save them. And Doctor Nichols performed two root canals on both of those teeth, one on each tooth, and was able to save both of the teeth. Not an ounce of pain. Very professional. He was very quick.

You feel confident. When you have that confidence in somebody, you come here and you’re very nervous about getting things done, and they treat you with utmost respect. That’s the most important.

I wouldn’t hesitate to tell them to come here, because I feel like whatever needs you have, I feel like they could help you. It’s like a one stop shop, really, which I didn’t realize that when I came here. I didn’t realize Doctor Nichols was going to be able to help me, because generally when you go to a dentist, “Yes, Doctor Parks does specialize in implants and prosthetics.” However, coming here and being able to get your root canal done here, also, and it was painless, timeless. You were in, you were out.

I hardly have ever had to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen, unless there was an emergency. You’re always aware that they’re still there where you’re there. And by itself, when you come somewhere, and you’re waiting a long time, everybody’s time means something to them, but also your getting the services you need means something as well.

Well, I’ve had a lot of bridge works from the time I was 21 years old. I was missing teeth and chipped teeth, and I had them since I was 21 I started. And then I had a bridge redone in Sumter and it needed … everything needed redoing when I came to Dr. Parks. All that I’ve had just wasn’t working and they weren’t properly restored and he properly restored everything back to health, my mouth back to health.

You can have bridge work but if everything underneath is not restored properly, then your bridgework may not last a long time. So now I feel confident that what I have now will last me a very long time. We have minus one tooth on the right-hand side that we’re going to finish up in a couple of weeks. I’ll have a full smile again and I’m already feeling a lot more confident than I was before I came here.

It’s just a drastic improvement and just the professionalism, the confidence that he had when he first started talking to me he says, “I think we can take care of you, Linda.” Not think, he knew that he could. He worked with me, and he also was aware of what my needs were and what my desires were. So he took everything into consideration when he was helping me.

You know, your smile means everything. So when you get older, your teeth are telling your age. And then when somebody can give you that confidence back and you can smile and talk to people without any hesitation and it just makes a difference in how you feel about yourself. And so in the end, I feel like I really had a great job from him. I feel very, very confident and I’d come back and I’d recommend them, highly recommend them.

I guess over the years, I’ve had … I have a family history of bone loss. My dad had lost his teeth when he was early twenties, and my whole family has kind of had trouble with that. We’ve kind of held on to most of my teeth as long as we could, and then had to start doing some work on replacing them. I was born with … I had, I guess I call it an underbite. It’s where my bottom teeth were in front of my top teeth. When they put the implants to teeth on the implants, that it made the teeth come into a more natural bite. It was difficult to get used to, and I think that has something to do with the way that I talk, to start with, and then it just adjusted, and, I mean, I’m just used to it now. It doesn’t even seem different.

And now my smile looks … I will smile with my mouth open, before when I would not, because it was a very unnatural looking bite. It helps with the shape of your face. When you have teeth loss, your face kind of doesn’t have the same form. I think it ages you when you don’t have … Even if you have back teeth missing, it kind of makes your face look different. It’s kind of filled my face back out to its natural shape. People that know me that didn’t know me before can’t tell any difference, and my friends, seeing, they seem like I feel more confident about my smile.

Well, I had partials and I couldn’t stand them and I did away with them in other words. I couldn’t stand that. I didn’t like the covering that it had in the roof of your mouth, and I’d just say a little semi-notches. And I got rid of them, and we came up with a new solution. And it’s more of a natural fit for me to have what I have now.

He and I discussed the probability of four implants. And that would have made them at four, but I said, “Well, I get more teeth for the money so I’ll get six instead of four.” I’ve had all these teeth removed except for what it takes to keep a bridge and I can’t tell the difference between my regular teeth and these teeth when I’m eating now.

That’s about as good as, for my oral health, as I can get. I’m able to eat well, digest well, and as a result I’ll just be of help to you. And anybody that eats well feels well, most basically, and that’s what he’s done for me. And I don’t have all the pain and discomfort that I had with bad teeth.

And so he’s helped me a lot. He helped me with my appearance too. I don’t try to hide a smile anymore, you know. But I’m able to. I used to not want my picture taken, and still don’t too much, but he’s helped me with that too. I do that with more confidence as well. I’m very proud of what I have and of what they’ve done for me. I’m very proud of that, yeah.

I love Advanced Dental Center. They’re like a family to me. I made friends with the dentist here, Dr. Hess. He’s easy to ask questions, he’s really a nice guy. He’s very genuine, and I feel very comfortable talking with him.

My filler came out and to save the tooth, the only option left was to perform the root canal for me. I thought about it, I talked with Dr. Hess about it, he presented a lot of information to me, as far as the advantages of getting a root canal and how beneficial it would be for me. I considered that, and I had him perform the root canal for me. It has been doing good and it’s been almost three years.

Well, I’ve been coming here so many years, and I love the doctors. I’ve been using Dr. Herbert for so many years. He actually met me in the office on the weekend to relieve the pain, and that means a lot that he would do that for me. He did everything that needed to be done, and when I left from out of there, I was not in any pain after that.

They’re the type personal dentist that you can go to at any time and he’s that way. If you let him know that you’re having a problem, he will go above and beyond to meet you there and rectify that problem, and get you out of the pain that you’re in. That means a lot. I trust them complicity, because they tell me what needs to be done, and they go over it with me, and I just feel comfortable. I trust them.

I have recommended this practice to many of my friends. I’ve told them, “When you go into Advanced Dental Center, you will be welcomed, and everyone will make you feel comfortable and they’ll get you back as soon as possible. There’s not a lot of waiting, and it’ll be a pleasant experience for you.”

Well, they have a doctor for just about everything. I had an implant done. They had a doctor for that. I had root canals done. It was a different doctor for that. Both of them were nice. They call you at home the same night they do the procedure. They ask about you. They want to find out if you’re okay. I thought that was fantastic.

Plus, when I had a implant done they actually came and gave me a massage. I almost fell asleep. It was so cool. When I had the root canals done it was because we found something that had happened earlier in my life that I didn’t know about. I had some kind of infection or something is what they said, so they had to do the two root canals on the two different teeth. They were on opposite sides. I just told them to go ahead and do it in one day, and like I said, it was fantastic.

Everybody always talks about root canals are so painful. I didn’t feel a thing. Nothing. It was great. I had a good experience, and I’ve had a good experience with everything I’ve done. Everything that I’ve come to this place for, the procedures have been fantastic. The people are fantastic, and they laugh at my stupid jokes, so I can’t beat it.

I like coming here because everything can be done at one place. You don’t have to go two or three different places and travel all over the United States to get the different specialists. You get it all done in one spot.

Well, like I said, getting an implant is a big deal because I have a few teeth I’ve been missing all my life, so I decided I wanted to put them back in there. It’d be nice to die with all your teeth. That’s why I just want them back in there. You get more confident when you got a better smile.

They came in and gave me a massage, and relaxed me, and had me … I didn’t really care. I felt so good, I just didn’t care, and when they did the work I didn’t feel any pain while they were doing it, after they did it, or the next day. I know people that have had implants at other places and it didn’t go so good for them. It went great for me. I’d recommend this place to anybody. That’s a fact.

They’ll work with you any way you want to. I use a card, but these people will work with you and help you, and they’ll figure out a payment plan for you that you can afford, which a lot of people can’t afford. I’m lucky that I can, but a lot of people can’t, so that’s a neat way to do things. Work with people and you’ll have people here left and right.

I would tell them it’s the best place they can go. I was just talking to a lady whose first time here in the waiting room, and she was nervous as all get out. I told her, I said, “You’re in great hands here. You’re not going to feel any pain.” It made her a little bit calmer because she was nervous as all get out. Yeah, I would highly recommend this place to everybody and anybody. All my friends, I’ve already told them about it.

Dr. Griffin told me what I needed and he ended up giving me eight veneer and actually he just did all my teeth up here except for the last two in the back. They don’t show anyway. When I came in, he put it in. It was no time at all and he said, “All right, here’s a mirror.” I looked at it and I said, “Wow!” Honestly, I didn’t expect too many people to say anything about it because you know you don’t talk about people’s teeth. “Boy, your teeth look great. What’d you do?” I said, “I brushed ’em.” No, I told ’em, I said, “Mine look good too and you need to go see Dr. Griffin.”

I did it purely for cosmetic. I had one bridge that was near needing replaced. I’d had it for 20 years or more. I thought it was a good opportunity to do that and to be honest with you I can’t tell I’ve got anything different in my mouth. It feels natural. As far as I’m concerned it looks natural and that’s what I was really concerned about. I know a lot of people are afraid to go to the dentist. Seriously, because it’s not a pleasant experience sitting in that chair, them drilling on you and all that kind of stuff but his staff talk to you the whole time you’re doing something.

They were talking to me about things I’m involved in and we just got it done and it was done before I realized they were doing it. It was a very easy process and I think probably one of the best things about the whole ordeal was they worked with me on getting my teeth done. I didn’t have to write a thousand dollar check. They worked with me and it was entirely from start to finish a very pleasant experience. One of the things I have been asked is, “Do you think I would like going to him?”

I tell everybody that I know that’s mentioned it that it would be one of the most pleasant visits to any doctor you’ve ever been to because they take care of you, they make you feel like you’re part of the family, and they want to make sure that you’re happy when you leave. I really appreciate that and matter of fact, I got a phone call not 30 days afterwards, “Are you still happy?” Then I ran into one of the young ladies that work up here at the grocery store and said, “Bill, how’s your teeth doing? You still happy with them?” I said, “I sure am.” “I’ll pass it on to the Doc.” So now when I’m looking into the camera doing my show I don’t mind looking at myself. You know, I actually kind of say, “Man, that guy’s got a decent smile under my face.”

I saw Dr. Kermeen and he gave me … I’ve got three implants from him. My gums would not hold a set of teeth and that’s why I had to have implants. There’s no way I could wear dentures without implants. It’s been real good. I’ve had … So far I’ve had a real good experience and we get along fine. I’m well satisfied. Not only do I have a doctor I have a friend.
