Your Florence Tooth Removal Is in Expert Hands

Tooth removal in Florence isn’t always easy, even in the best circumstances. It can be downright tricky if there are complications such as a partially or fully impacted tooth. Thanks to their extensive training, including postgraduate programs in a hospital setting, our dentists are well equipped to handle any tooth extraction. Our team has more than 200 years of combined dental experience among them. One of our doctors even teaches at SCMU.

In addition to experienced doctors, we’ll treat you with:

  • 3D Imaging – More detailed than other kinds of X-rays, 3D imaging gives us a highly detailed view of your teeth and surrounding facial anatomy, including tooth roots and nerves. This will make us aware of any possible complications before your procedure starts, so we can create a plan to proactively address them.
  • PRP Therapy – We can use a small amount of your own blood to create platelet-rich plasma (PRP), a material that speeds healing and lowers the risk of infection.

Your tooth extraction is in expert hands at Advanced Dental Center! Call (843) 588-1919 if you need to have teeth removed, even wisdom teeth.

Ease Your Extraction With Sedation

We’ll thoroughly numb your mouth with local anesthesia so you won’t feel a thing as your tooth comes out. If you’re feeling nervous, we can calm you with dental sedation. You can choose oral conscious sedation in the form of a pill.

In addition, to keep you comfortable the entire time you’re in our chair, our team will thoroughly explain your procedure and answer any questions before your treatment starts. You can also enjoy comforts like bottled water.

We’ll Talk to You About Tooth Replacement Too

If you’re losing a tooth, it’s time to think about replacing it. It’s a good idea to address tooth replacement options with our dentists. If you want a dental implant, they may want to perform a bone graft or other oral surgery procedure during your tooth extraction to prepare the site for an implant. Dental implants aren’t your only option; we can also replace missing teeth with a dental bridge or dentures.

From tooth removal in Florence to tooth replacement, you’re in good hands with Advanced Dental Center. Call (843) 588-1919 to schedule your tooth extraction.

Common Questions About Tooth Removal/Extractions

Even for a routine procedure like a tooth extraction, it is difficult to quote a price without first seeing you in our office. During your initial visit, we’ll examine your mouth and take a set of X-rays to develop a plan for removing your tooth or teeth. Once we have more specific details, we can give you an accurate cost for your tooth removal.

In most cases, you can expect your extraction site to heal fully within approximately seven to 10 days. Your healing will depend partly on how well you follow the aftercare instructions we’ll give you. If you’re careful about what you eat and drink and avoid vigorous exercise for a few days, your healing time will be quicker and more comfortable.

Rest assured that your comfort is a high priority for us. We’ll do all we can to make sure that your extraction is as comfortable as possible. We’ll thoroughly numb the area around the tooth before doing any work. If you’re nervous about your procedure, you can always opt for oral conscious sedation to put you in a relaxed state while we take care of your extraction.
